Mealtime

On the Avalon Artistry II River Cruise (which I highly recommend), Mealtime is an event – every day, 3 times a day.  Here are a few of our favorite items. I can’t just post one! If you are hungry, click to enlarge them.    Entrees and soups had delicate flavors, but the desserts had some Wow Power!  And red and white wine always accompanied dinners.  Plus Champagne Toast with the Captain of the vessel.

Some descriptions include:  Beetroot Carpaccio, Pineapple Shrimp Shooter, Prok Wellington, Lobster Tail with Risotto and Saffron,  Amuse Bouche Trout, Duck Liver Parfait (yes it was delicious).   Creme Brulee, Apple Strudel, Baked Alaska,  always new ice cream flavors next to a special frozen yogurt.

Our our cruise sometimes I felt guilty eating the beautiful creations they set before us. But, then my growling stomach took over! Wonderful collection Diane.
